Sandboarding Cerro Blanco

Friday the 22nd we got up at 4am for a Sandboarding trip up Cerro Blanco, the biggest Sand dune in the world at 2080 meters tall. With our tour guide Raul we set off whilst the sun was still down. Within half an hour our porter fell ill so we had to carry our own boards. Took 3 long hours to climb and was even harder in the deep sand, but was well worth the wait! Stop for lunch at the top and admired the spectacular view. We got down a lot faster than we got up.
